Install DispatchAI on your phone, tablet or computer

It takes under a minute, it is free, and it does not use an app store. DispatchAI opens from its own icon, in its own window, and your phone can show call alerts like any other app. You do not have to install it: it also works in any browser at fielddispatchai.com.

iPhone and iPad

Safari is the most reliable. Chrome and Edge on iPhone can do it too (iOS 16.4 or newer).

  1. Open fielddispatchai.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button , at the bottom of the screen (top right on iPad).
  3. Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen . If you don't see it, scroll further or tap Edit Actions and add it.
  4. Leave the name as DispatchAI and tap Add.
  5. Open DispatchAI from your Home Screen, like any other app, and sign in.

Tip: On iPhone, call alerts (notifications) only work once DispatchAI is added to the Home Screen. Open it from there, then turn on notifications in Settings.

To remove it later: Press and hold the DispatchAI icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App.

Android phones and tablets

Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Samsung Internet and Firefox.

  1. Open fielddispatchai.com in your browser.
  2. Tap the Install button on this page. If a box appears asking to install, tap Install.
  3. No button or box? Tap the browser menu , then Install app or Add to Home screen.
  4. Confirm. DispatchAI is added to your home screen and app drawer.
  5. Open it, sign in, and turn on notifications in Settings so you hear about new calls.

To remove it later: Press and hold the DispatchAI icon, then tap Uninstall (or drag it to Uninstall).

Windows, Linux and Chromebook (Edge or Chrome)

Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome both install DispatchAI in a few clicks.

  1. Open fielddispatchai.com in Edge or Chrome.
  2. Click the Install button on this page. Or click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
  3. Click Install in the box that appears.
  4. DispatchAI opens in its own window and is added to your Start menu or app launcher. You can pin it to the taskbar.

Tip: Using a private (InPrivate or Incognito) window hides the install option. Open a normal window instead.

To remove it later: Open DispatchAI, click the three dots at the top of its window, then Uninstall DispatchAI. Or remove it from Settings, then Apps.

Mac

Safari (macOS Sonoma 14 or newer), Chrome and Edge all work.

  1. Safari: open fielddispatchai.com, then in the menu bar choose File, then Add to Dock, and click Add.
  2. Chrome or Edge: open fielddispatchai.com and click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (or the Install button on this page), then Install.
  3. DispatchAI opens in its own window and appears in your Dock and Launchpad.

To remove it later: Right-click the icon in your Applications folder (or Dock) and choose Move to Trash.

Firefox on a computer

Firefox on Windows, Mac and Linux can't install web apps.

  1. Open fielddispatchai.com in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome instead, and follow the steps above.
  2. Or keep using DispatchAI in a Firefox tab. It works the same, it just isn't a separate app window.
  3. Tip: bookmark fielddispatchai.com so it is one click away.

To remove it later: Nothing to remove. Delete the bookmark if you added one.

Opened from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn or a messaging app

Those apps open links in a small built-in browser that can't install anything.

  1. Tap the menu or the Share icon in the corner of the screen.
  2. Choose Open in Browser, Open in Safari or Open in Chrome.
  3. Once the page is open in your real browser, follow the steps for your device above.

To remove it later: Nothing to remove.

Questions

Is it really free, and is it safe?

Yes. Installing DispatchAI costs nothing and does not go through an app store. You are adding the same secure website to your device as an app. It asks for no access to your files, contacts or location. The only permission it may ask for is notifications, which you choose.

Why does my phone or computer not show any warning?

Because nothing is being downloaded and installed from an unknown file. The browser itself adds the website as an app. That is also why updates are automatic: you always get the latest version when you open it.

I don't see an Install option.

Check the following, in this order: you are in your real browser and not inside another app; you are not in a private or incognito window; your browser is up to date; and you are using Safari on iPhone and iPad, or Edge or Chrome on a computer. On iPhone the option is Add to Home Screen under the Share button, not a button on the page.

Do I have to install it?

No. DispatchAI works in any browser at fielddispatchai.com. Installing just gives it its own icon and window, and lets your phone show call alerts like any other app.

Will I have to sign in again, and will my data be there?

You sign in once with the same email and password. Everything is stored in your account, so your calls, estimates and settings are the same on every device.

How do I get call alerts on my phone?

After installing, open DispatchAI, go to Settings and turn on notifications. On iPhone, do this from the Home Screen icon, not from Safari.
