Forward Only Missed Calls: Rogers, Bell, TELUS
Forward only unanswered, busy and unreachable calls to your answering service on Canadian mobile carriers, with the voicemail step that trips most people up.
What this does
On Rogers, Bell, TELUS and other Canadian carriers, these steps send only the calls you don't answer to your answering service. Your phone rings first and your business number does not change. Replace [your DispatchAI number] with the number you are given when you start a DispatchAI trial.
Steps
- Turn off your carrier voicemail first — on Canadian carriers, voicemail answers unanswered calls before forwarding can reach Ava.
- On iPhone, turn off Live Voicemail first: Settings → Apps → Phone → Live Voicemail. Apple says it stops carrier no-answer forwarding from working, and iOS updates can switch it back on.
- Open your phone's dialer.
- For calls you don't answer, dial: *61*[your DispatchAI number]# then press call.
- For calls that come in while you're already on the phone, dial: *67*[your DispatchAI number]# then press call.
- For when your phone is off or has no signal, dial: *62*[your DispatchAI number]# then press call.
- Check it took: dial *#61# and press call — the screen should show [your DispatchAI number] as where unanswered calls go. If it shows voicemail or another number, dial ##61#, then set it again.
To turn it off
Dial ##61#, ##67#, and ##62# (each followed by call) to turn each one off.
Good to know
Some Bell pay-per-use plans bill forwarded minutes — worth a quick check with your carrier. Rogers Home Phone (landline) uses *92 then the number for no-answer and *90 for busy instead.
Codes depend on your carrier and plan. If something doesn't take, your carrier's support line can set it up in a couple of minutes. See the call forwarding overview for the other carriers.
